Comments
Lay a long stitch across the shape. Anchor the stitch evenly at regular intervals on the return journey, using the same thread. Anchoring stitches should be long and slanting and lie flat, parallel to the long stitch. The tie-down stitches are almost indistinguishable from the laid thread.
