Come up at A. Go down at B and come up at C. Leave the Straight stitch AB relaxed.

Slide the needle under and toward the right side of AB. Do not enter the fabric.

Go in at D (directly under A) and come up at E. Leave stitch CD relaxed.

Slide the needle under and toward the left side of CD. Do not enter the fabric.

Go in at F (directly below C) and come out at G. Leave stitch EF relaxed.

Slide the needle under and toward the right side of EF. Do not enter the fabric. End when going down on either side.
