Come up at A on the face close to the fold. Go in at B on the fold and up at C on the fold. Go in at D on the reverse opposite A and close to the fold. Come out at E, which is on the face below A.

1a. Without picking up any fabric, slide the needle from right to left under the crossed threads AB and CD.

Pull through and snug up gently. Go in at F on the reverse below D and out at G on the face below E. Repeat Steps 1a and 2 to the length desired.
